I know I am!  I believe there are few things better than a Christmas movie marathon during the holiday season.  I love grabbing all the cozy blankets, making a cup of hot cocoa, popping some popcorn, and cuddling up to watch some holiday classics.

Polar Express

This might be controversial, but I LOVE this movie.  You can’t not get pumped up listening to them scream-sing “HOT, HOT, HOT… HOT CHOCOLATE!”  You also can’t tell me that you don’t get emotional when they’re singing “When Christmas Comes to Town.”  

If you couldn’t tell, this song has a sweet spot in my heart, and it also makes me feel a special type of way. (‘:

Elf

Everyone loves this light-hearted comedy!  Perfect for a fun movie night with friends or family. (:

White Christmas

TRULY the most classic Christmas movie of them all.  Everything about this is perfection – especially the music.  

It’s a bit long, but I have little to no attention span, and I still looove watching this movie.  Can’t beat it!

Holidate

Super cute Christmas romcom brought to you by Netflix!  Of course, it’s going to be a little cheesy (it is a holiday romcom), but it’s not as bad as those infamous Hallmark movies. (;

A Bad Moms Christmas

Nick and I watched this over FaceTime for a long-distance date night two years ago… how cute. (‘:

It’s super funny, so I would definitely recommend watching this when your friends are over for a movie night.

The Grinch

Yet another classic that you can’t forget about… personally, my favorite Grinch movies are the one with Jim Carey and the newest one, but you can fight me on that later if you want.  

Barbie in the Nutcracker

I was OBSESSED with Barbie movies when I was younger… and I was also obsessed with Christmas, so obviously this movie was a win-win for little 8-year-old Marissa.

Home Alone

Please do not hate me for this, but I have only watched this movie once.  

There, I said it.

HOWEVER… I enjoyed it, and I know other people love this movie to the absolute ends of the earth, so I wanted to make sure it made the ultimate Christmas movie line-up.

Frosty the Snowman

Another absolute classic that you really shouldn’t skimp on… Frosty is the perfect movie to watch when you’re babysitting or just hangin’ with the fam. (:

The Santa Clause

I haven’t seen these movies in FOREVER, but I loved them years ago.  I think my favorite was #2, so I would definitely recommend watching allll of them – not just the first.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

If Frosty makes the list, so does Rudolph.  

P.S. Rudolph & the Island of Misfit Toys is the BEST.
