7 Movies You Need to Watch this Valentine’s Day
the big wedding
I just watched this movie for the first time because my friend was over and she recommended it… and I am SO glad she did!
This movie is not only absolutely hilarious and chaotic, but also super cute and will leave you feeling so good.
It might even be my new favorite. ((:
something borrowed
I also just recently watched this for the first time, and I cannot even explain the way I felt afterward.
This movie will give you lots of laughs, but it will also give you allll the feels.
The ending was perfect, but I was still somehow an emotional wreck after the last scene.
adrift
Fair warning: this movie is a heart-wrencher!
Such an entertaining and inspiring love story (based on true events!) with a huge twist at the end.
the wrong missy
By far one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen!!
This is great to watch alone, with a significant other, or even with your family (as long as everyone is a little older).
I watched this with my dad, my sister, and Nick, and we were all glued to the screen, cracking up the whole time.
silver linings playbook
This is a super cute, bittersweet movie about two people who have been through a lot of sh*t… and they end up helping each other through their rock bottom times.
Lots of laughter and tears guaranteed with this one.
someone great
This is for all y’all who might be feeling a little heartbroken, bitter, or just not interested in Valentine’s Day and all the lovey dovey stuff.
One of the best movies I’ve ever seen, this film showcases a woman who just ended a long-term relationship and is completely devastated but also determined to find herself again – with the help of some friends.
the notebook
I know the relationship pictured in this movie is not healthy, but can we still appreciate the cinematic masterpiece of it all?!
The first time I watched this movie, I BAWLED my eyes out – not kidding.
In my opinion, this is one of the most romantic, gut-wrenching, tear-jerking movies of all time. Perfect for Valentine’s Day.
